Rocket Rolls

Wow. We have not posted anything on here in almost a year. How embarrassing :). Good thing only 2 people ever look on here anyways. It's okay. I've been busy. I've been doin stuff. We really like these rolls. They are probably the closest thing to store bought rolls that I've ever made. Meaning that they are really soft but still really sturdy. I like to use them as hamburger buns. I make them into little small rolls and then make little cute cheeseburgers to go on them.....delicious!!! I can't remember where this recipe came from. I found it on a food blog but I don't remember which one. So now you never have to buy hamburger buns again.

1 Tbsp. yeast
1 c. warm water
1/4 c. oil
1 egg
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. warm water
6 1/2 c. bread flour
1 Tbsp. sea salt
Dissolve the yeast in the 1 c. of warm water. Add oil, egg, sugar, 1 1/2 c. warm water and flour.
Knead for about 5 minutes. Add the salt and knead another 2 minutes. Let rise for 1 1/2 hours.
Shape into rolls. Let rise 20 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Brush with butter when they come out of the oven.
